David left out of Team GB sqaud
A disappointing day for David today after he was told he would be left out of the Team GB football squad. Stuart Pearce, the manager of Team GB, made the decision after watching David play on a few occassions. It's a very disappointing decision for David who was so involved in the bid for the London games, and was extremely honoured to have carried the Olympic torch earlier this year.

David backs England for Euro success
David Beckham said today that he backs passionate England to spring a surprise at Euro 2012.
David collected a special cap from UEFA at Wembley to mark his achievement of being one of only 5 players to have played more than a 100 times for England.
